2015 Viva Loudoun All-Loudoun Golfer of the Year Average 18 hole score of 71. Led the 4A State Champion Vikings not only in scoring, but attitude, work ethic and consistency. Steady and unflappable despite wind, cold and rain; and strong will to win, all evident by his back-to-back individual State Championships (3A and 4A). Despite tremendous individual success, takes greatest pride in team winning.
2015 All-Loudoun Golf Team Had an average 18-hole score of 75 on the year and finished as the runner up in the Curly Lickliter tournament, 3rd in the Bryan Gunther tournament, and had two low rounds of 70 on the season. Ability to perform well the greater the stakes. Member of the 2015 Group 4A State Championship team.
2015 All-Loudoun Golf Team Medaled in every major tournament played throughout the season, including earning a low medal win of 71 at the Mini Conference Tournament at Bull Run Golf Course. A fierce competitor who thrives on playing against the best. Closed out the year with a trip to the state tournament.
Brandon Weaver, Loudoun Valley

2015 All-Loudoun Golf Team Junior, Captain, and two-time regional qualifier. Newman was the low medalist (winner) at the George Pavlis Memorial tournament and second in the Conference 21 Championship. He is a leader on and off the course, and his team often looks to him to set the pace with his steady play and even keel attitude.
2015 All-Loudoun Golf Team Qualified for regionals with a Conference Championship score of 76, and competed in the state tournament after shooting a 76 at regionals, and then placed 8th at states after notching 10 birdies over 36 holes played. His resiliency and determination the greater the stakes was reflective in his post season performance.
2015 All-Loudoun Golf Team Solid all season and showed up to play every week. Well balanced game suited for every type of golf course. Great ball striker with plenty of distance off the tee. Had an average 18-hole score of 75 on the year. Low round of 68 on the year and placed as the runner up at the Loudoun County Championships. Member of the 2015 Group 4A State Championship team.
Paul Odenwaldt, Loudoun County
2015 All-Loudoun Golf Team Closed out his senior campaign averaging 38.2 for 9-hole matches. Finished fifth in the conference finals, and was the first state alternate courtesy of an opponent's playoff birdie in regionals. An outstanding golfer, but even better leader and team mate which earned him Team MVP honors.
2015 All-Loudoun Golf Team Finished year with an 18-hole average of 74. Silky smooth swing, beautiful short game and mental toughness. Fairway and green accuracy and ability to hit puts from all lengths. Won the Bryan Gunther tournament, Conference 21 Championship, and placed 4th in the 4A State tournament. Member of 2015 Group 4A State Championship team.
Ryan Monastero, Loudoun County
2015 All-Loudoun Golf Team Scores were posted/counted in every match for the season with a scoring average of 38.6 for nine holes on the season. Won the Loudoun County Championship with a 71, and qualified for conferences, regionals and competed in the State Tournament where he finished 16th overall.
2015 All-Loudoun Golf Team Finished as the Conference 14 second place low medalist at 72, which qualified him for the Regional Tournament. A leader on the SBHS golf team as their most consistent player over the last 3 years, always demonstrating outstanding sportsmanship and serving as a role model for younger players.
Special Recognition to the Loudoun Valley Golf Team
2015 VHSL Group 4A State Golf Champions Pictured L to R following their Conference 21 Championship win: Brandon Weaver, Max Cave, Ryan Hammer, Adam Lockhart, Garrett Jenkins, Josh Bowles and Coach Troy Mezzatesta. This team shattered the school record for lowest 18 holes by 9 strokes with a 6 under par 282 total, and posted similar numbers in route to large victories all season long. The team's ability to feed off and be motivated to beat each other led to lights out play, earn title after title, until finally reaching the pinnacle at the state championships. The Vikings won the title by one stroke, the next smallest marge of victory on the season was 8 strokes.
